CREMA

Coffee Roasters

Crema Coffee Roasters is one of the OG specialty shops in Nashville. A city with a lot of good coffee, it’s definitely my top recommendation.

Coffee quality is #1, but vibes matter too. Lots of seating and massive windows, the atmosphere at Crema is top notch.

The cappuccino is smooth and the right temperature. Crema has stood the test of time in only 1 location (until recently), showing they care more about their coffee than they do corporate expansion.

Minimal design without overdoing it.

Weak Coffee

A tiny (literally) multi-roaster located inside of a drum shop. Don’t let its size fool you. Rotating heavy hitters like Dune, La Cabra, and Brandywine, Weak has 2 exceptional baristas who can pull some tasty shots. They also have some of my favorite branding I’ve ever come across.

Subliminal

Another tiny micro roaster run by a super friendly guy named JJ. If you’re looking for exceptional coffee in East Nashville, this is your stop.

No Free Coffee

A multi-roaster founded in Japan, now with a location in Nashville. Japan has lots of specialty coffee but not much has made it over here. I had a cortado that was decent but my friend had an incredible flat white.
